FREE REGISTRATION FOR 50 People at the 15th International Federation on Ageing Conference

The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) hosts a global conference on ageing biannually. Since 1992 the IFA global conferences have paved the way in knowledge exchange to help influence policy and practice to improve the quality of life of older people. Now in 2021 the IFA aims to drive the world’s population agenda in alignment with the United Nations (UN) Decade of Healthy Ageing 2021-2030 and improve the experience of ageing through information sharing, education, and the opportunity for delegates to connect with colleagues across the globe.

This year the Conference will be held from the 10th to 12th November 2021 both in person (Niagra Falls, Canada) and virtually. The  conference will focus on the four action areas of the Decade and hence is directly relevant to all our work.

Considering the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the desire to offer opportunities to people working in ageing from low- and low-middle-income countries, the IFA has agreed to offer free conference registrations for 50 delegates from across WHO regions to participate in the 15th Global Conference on Ageing “Rights Matter” virtually, joining with more than 1200 delegates from around the world working together in the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing.

To apply, interested people need to do two things by November 5th:

  • register by 5th November 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time at and
  • email Ms. Andra Stancu, IFA Program Manager [email protected] to confirm your application.

The offer is on a first come basis.
