Objective Provision of access to life saving reproductive health services to the Displaced and Local population in hard-to-reach areas of Moegaung and Waingmaw Townships in Kachin

Brief History
In 2016 funded by UNFPA started from 1/1/2016 to 31/12/2016 as in Humanitarian component (Reproductive Health) to provide emergency obstetric care as well as lifesaving protection to affected population who are surviving from any of sexual violence by 3 mobile trips by 3 teams to IDP Camps and population living in hard to reach areas of Moegaung and Waingmaw townships up to the end of December 2016.
Strategy Operating mobile reproductive clinic in selected villages and Camps of Moegaung and Winemaw townships for reproductive aged women and new born child.
Activities
- Provision of SRH service through outreach mobile activities in 2 townships especially to Camps.
- Provision of Primary Health Care Services through mobile clinics.
- Distributing activity (RH Kits) to poor high risk pregnant women and women of reproductive age.
- Management of RTI/STI.
- Referring and supporting high risk reproductive aged women to Hospital level.
Area coverage 12 IDP camps and 2 villages in Waingmaw township; 4 IDP camps in Moegaung township.
